Authorization for the County Manager to enter into a communications services contract between the Cumberland County Regional Communications Center and the Town of Frye Island from July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2028.

Background and Purpose of Request:
Requestor: Melinda Fairbrother-Dyer, Director of CCRCC
The current Communications Contract between the CCRCC and the Town of Frye Island is due to expire July 1, 2025. The fee’s associated with Frye Island’s Dispatch contract are based on a per capita fee for their 2020 census population with an annual increase of 3% and an additional IT connection fee for the Fire Departments connection to our CAD Software increasing annually by 3%.
Funding Amount and Source:
Dispatch Service Fee’s:
Year 1 (July 1, 2025 to June 30,2026): $4,095.28
Year 2 (July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027): $4,218.14
Year 3 (July 1, 2027 to June 30, 2028): $4,344.68
Information Technology CAD Connection Fee’s:
Year 2: $2,000 with an annual 3% increase each year after.
Effective Date: July 1, 2025
