Authorize the County Manager to enter into a 1-year extension with Oakview Group for the venue management of the Cross Insurance Arena.

Background and Purpose of Request
The County has had a management agreement with a national venue management firm since the Cross Insurance Arena re-opened after renovations back in 2014. The management agreement was modified back in 2017, when the management firm bought and relocated an ECHL hockey team to Portland. Initially there was a set number of years and once that initial term expired, the contract dictated that after the initial term, eight individual extensions of one-year would be the term structure. July 1, 2026, will be the beginning of the second of the one-year extensions.
The contract amount largely comes from the Cross Insurance Arena operation account, which is capitalized by the shows the arena puts on. A small amount of funding resides in the General Fund budget, which largely serves as the annual incentive as dictated by contract.
I am asking for Commissioner authorization to execute this second one-year extension with OakView Group.
