Background and Purpose of Request
As a result of a human trafficking investigation that commenced in 2022 in the Town of Gray, a final disposition in the case has been reached by the state’s attorney.
During the investigation evidence to include US Currency totaling $12,110.00 was seized. Through the disposition of the case the state’s attorney, Kristen Hughes, secured the relinquishment/forfeiture of proceeds.
Attached is the agreement signed by the state’s attorney, the defendant in the case, and the defendant’s attorney acknowledging all rights to the property and relinquishment of the property to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
