Notes: District 1 - Representing Baldwin, Bridgton, Gorham, Scarborough, Sebago, and Standish. Commissioner Jean-Marie Caterina was elected in 2025 and brings a diverse background to the position of Cumberland County Commissioner. A native of South Portland, she holds a BA in political science from UMO and an MSW in social welfare administration from Boston College. Her career has ranged from Latin teacher to child protective services worker to Assistant Commissioner of Labor to Affirmative Action officer of a large local employer. She has spent the last twenty plus years as a successful real estate broker in the Greater Portland market. She and her husband, Geoff MacLean, reside in Scarborough. Most recently, Jean-Marie served the Town of Scarborough as a town councilor. Her experience in municipal government led her to run for election to the Cumberland County Board of Commissioners.
